Oatbran Galette

 

The Galette is the perfect way to introduce Oatbran into your daily routine, just like a pancake you can either top with or wrap your filling in. This recipe is for the savoury type but for a sweeter variey just add a little sugar or sweetner if you prefer.

 

Ingredients

 

2 tablespoons Oatbran

1 tablespoon fat free fromage frais (<1%)

50g fat free Quark (<1%)

3 eggs, seperated

Herbs to taste

Salt & Pepper

 

Filling - chose from Flaked Tuna, Smoked Salmon, Extra lean Ham (<1% fat), Cottage Cheese (<1% fat)

 

 

Mix together all the ingredients, except egg whites, until smooth.

Add herbs, salt & pepper to taste.

Beat egg whites until stiff.

Add chosen filling along with egg whites to ingredients.

Pour into a warmed frying pan on a medium heat, turning when lightly browned.

Serve when both sides are lighlty browned.
